I went ahead and checked out a copy from our library.

...I can't read the entire thing in time. I just can't. I'll Wikipedia details, but from what I'm reading I'm certainly not missing out on anything.

Hoping to get the first chapter knocked out this weekend.

I can read forty pages on the nature of Zen Buddhism in one night. I can read about the various discursive groups of black women that form around the hip hop subculture without seeing read. I can read George Orwell.

I can tackle two chapters.

...do you realize that this is the only library book I've never been bothered by if it turns up damaged? That says something - I used to work in a library.

Hey, I spend most of my free time in the library and I don't care either. I'm at about chapter six, and I already hate every single one of the characters besides Simon.
