The Realm of Literacy is an alternate dimension from which the dreaded Mary Sue virus originated. Its state of being is tied to the quality of fiction, both canon and fan-made. As works riddled with Mary Sues are released, the Realm falls into a state of disrepair.

In order to combat this problem, the M.A.R.Y.S.U.E. (Management Assemblage for Removal of Yawing Special Unit Extermination) Department was formed. As one team sporks bad fiction and fanfiction to weaken it, another infiltrate the works and put an end to the Sues.

---------RULES------------------

The Realm does not require visitors to follow many rules, but please do respect the few that there are:

1.) PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF ALL SPORKERS, FELLOW VISITORS, AND OTHER PERSONS IN THE REALM. The management will NOT tolerate any sort of taunting, harassing, bullying, or other similar behavior. This includes insults towards race, gender, sex, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or anything of that nature. In short, be nice or be banned.

2.) PLEASE DO NOT TROLL THE SUETHORS OR THE WORKS OF FICTION THEY WRITE. Please limit all raging to the Realm. It is rude to troll or flame, as infuriating as you might find a work of fiction. If you wish to leave constructive criticism for a particular work, that is fine. But keep in mind rule number three...

3.) PLEASE DO NOT LINK BACK SPORKINGS TO THE SUETHORS OF THE WORKS. It is, as said in the rule above, rude. It also causes trouble for all parties, trouble which no one needs. Please, just do not do it.

4.) SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME. If you know of a particularly terrible piece of fiction that deserves shredding, by all means let us know!

5.) PLEASE HAVE AS MUCH FUN AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. That is all.

ZeldaQueen is an aspiring author, usually working with fantasy of some sort. She also loves to write fanfiction. She is the chief sporker for the Realm of Literacy. She has recently started her second LiveJournal, zq_nanowrimo, to post her shorter works as well as her NaNoWriMo writing in.
