In Which I Do A Meme: Hypothetical AU

Snagged from
geministar01, to make up for the lack of updates.
Take any one of the fandoms or characters you know I write AND give me a type of AU (space opera AU, pirate AU, superhero AU, etc.). I will then explain what story from that fandom/character I would write for that AU.
To give you guys a little more choice (right now, I've only written fanfiction for Axis Powers Hetalia, The Legend of Zelda, and That Guy With the Glasses), I'll also give hypothetical AUs for fandoms you know I spork.

Date: 2012-11-30 06:56 pm (UTC)In the far future, in the galaxy of Hylia, planets and civilizations had been shaken by a decades-long war between the inhabitants of the Gerudo territories and the planet Hyrule. Coming to power in the midst of the conflict, Princess Zelda manages to end the war by ordering the drafting of an unprecedented number of young men and women. Though the costs were high, the surge of Hyrulian soldiers were able to bring the war to an end. The instigator of the war - Ganondorf - was captured, executed, and had his remains jettisoned into space. Almost all of the Gerudo territories were seized by the Hyrulian government and terraformed from deserts into more inhabitable lands. The territories became known as "New Hyrule".
One of the drafted soldiers was a young man by the name of Link. He fought well for his planet and managed to survive, but never fully recovered from the ordeal. Instead of returning to live with his grandmother and sister (who moved to New Hyrule), he chose to live in a small apartment in the capital city. By day, he worked as an assistant to a ship repair woman named Malon. By night, he would ride his motorcycle Epona and beat up thieves and muggers.
When bizarre monsters are found roaming the streets though, Link realizes that something bad is going down. Add in the kidnapping of his friend and neighbor, Nabooru, and it looks like he's being called to fight again.
Zelda, meanwhile, has found out something of her own. Something called "Koholint Satellite" is apparently orbiting Hyrule, but its exact purpose is unknown. Determined to uncover this mystery, and fearing that her advisers can not be trusted, she flees.
Inevitably, Link and Zelda meet and resolve to find out the mystery of the Koholint Satellite. With the help a former smuggler-turned-cowered named Linebeck, his firstmate and ex-girlfriend Jolene, artillery woman Joanne, a Gerudo rights extremist named Aveil, and a strange AI program known only as "Fi", they set out to solve the mystery of Koholint, the monsters, and the disappearance of Nabooru.
