Fiction Notes: The first book in a Young Adult series. Can be described as "Twilight with fallen angels". Has an extremely formulaic plot and an abusive love interest that puts Edward Cullen to shame. Written by Becca Fitzpatrick

Yay, you're finally sporking this horrible book! I can't wait! :D

Believe me, if you think that Edward Cullen and Jace Wayland are bad, they have nothing on Patch.

I've figured that out by Chapter 1. God DAMN!

Ahhh I remember reading the Sparkle Project review of this. I believe this is the only book of 10 that made the reviewer hurl the book into a wall. Twice. Good luck. :c

Oh yeah, I think I saw you over there! ^_^ Thanks!

Love- For you, not the series

I check almost daily for new chapters... I honestly read the actual book. And still don't know how it ends. Hopefully you'll do better at unraveling the nonsense than I did.

Aw, thanks! ^_^

Yeah, the ending is just...stupid. Fitzpatrick tried for loopholes and instead just made up some stuff as she went along.

I'd like to begin with a confession: while teaching, I ran across this book in the library, and was greatly intrigued by the summary. It makes me sad to see it here, because that means that it's just another Twilight clone. I suppose it just makes me appreciate people like Frank Beddor and Rachel Hawkins all the more.

Yeah, they try like heck to make these things interesting, but there's only so much that can be done.

I read about half the book before throwing it at a wall. I can't wait to read your thoughts.

You chose a good place to give up. I hope you enjoy the sporking! Many capital letters are involved.
