The Realm of Literacy

It's quite annoying to see a perfectly good plot go down the drain. If Zoey actually paid attention to what was going on around her instead of whining about the Dark Daughters (really, who the hell cares about that?) and all of her boyfriends (current and future) there would probably be half the number of books. Like, seriously, I fail to see what the overarching plot is. I highly doubt these ghosts are going to be a problem for much longer.

I heard there is a ninth book coming out. I still don't understand how this weak plot can last for nine-plus books.
