"And good points about the contrast between Bella and Leah. It's truly disgusting how Jacob rants about how Leah is such a horrible person while not realizing that it is Bella, the object of his obsession, who is the truly terrible one."
I think that's what bugs me the most about the series - Bella is only well liked because Meyer wrote it. In real life, she'd be ignored at the best and certainly not so beloved. But we're forced to watch as she is held up as such a wonderful person and get a happy ending she doesn't deserve at all.
Ohh, I'm going to be ranting a LOT about the parent/child relationships in the next chapter. Meyer just - I honestly wonder how close she was to her family.
I'm actually quite glad that Leah ends the series single, because RELATIONSHIPS DON'T SOLVE ALL PROBLEMS! She was fixing her life up with friends and not another boyfriend and got along well.
