I think Meyer lumped the Claire de Lune thing with the dragging to the car thing. So in her mind, when Young Kim said "I'm cutting that scene", she thought the whole thing would go and so she went "No! No! It all must stay in!" Or she is so messed up, she thinks it shows Bella and Edward's "developing" relationship because he's *so* concerned for her health that he'd drag her across the parking lot to drive her home. -_-
