It's probably significant that both the vampires and Bella have creepy, mask-like, Uncanny Valley faces while the human characters have personality in theirs. (Rosalie comes off the best, as she looks pissed and ready to smack the lot of them. The rest of them:
Jasper: "You'll never know when I'll get you. But I will."
Alice: "I'm an androgynous goth, and if you even look at me wrong, I won't just cut you, I'll DISSECT you."
Emmett: "They think I look so philosophical, and all I'm doing is thinking about football."
Edward: "I STARE INTO THE ABYSS AND HATE THE WORLD."
Seriously, the only one I might look at twice is Rosalie, and that's because I'd wonder what she was pissed about. I would stay far, far away from the others.
Eric looks like most of the geeky boys I knew in high school. They were smart and funny and good friends. I'll take Eric and his brethren over the Uncanny Valley crowd any day.
