Aphrodite's gets increasingly pitiable as the series goes on. It doesn't make Zoey look any better when she finds out what her home life is like and still insists she's a bitch.
Although to give the Cast ladies some credit, unlike other Scary Sues in books like this, Aphrodite at least gets character development and forms a friendship of sorts with Zoey. If TV Tropes is to be believed, she also becomes something of an ensemble darkhorse in the fandom.
