Not only that, but she treats the one flawed thing that a person does as worthy of dismissing them entirely as Bad People. Never mind that Heath and Kayla tried to save her after she abused and ignored them, they smoked pot and got drunk! Never mind that Elliot is probably exhausted from blood loss, he's ugly and annoys Zoey! Never mind that Erik clearly was made miserable by Aphrodite, he used to date her, didn't he?

Huh, I'd say I'm not surprised, but I'll confess that I haven't completely read City of Bones yet.
"Side note: Clare does piss me off. She got famous and a book deal because of a crap fanfic? Wouldn't that be technically profiting off of the HP series, since publishers pay the authors money and they gave her a book deal because of of fanfic, so couldn't J.K Rowling sue her? ...who am I kidding? Rowling has made so much money that Clare hasn't even made a fraction of what she's made."
I guess people could argue that Clare eventually expanded the Draco Trilogy until it got to the point where very little of it resembled canon. I don't know legally how it works. I guess since she didn't *actually* profit off of HP, they figure it's not worth it.
