Agreed. It's one thing if a character is shy or just doesn't like to engage in public displays of affection. It's quite another to act like kissing a guy who's dropping you off from a date is sluttish (not to mention that Zoey has not acted at all like a shy or reserved girl thus far)
"What would have been interesting would be an exploration of men being victims. Aphrodite was attempting to rape him. But I should obviously look elsewhere for that."
It certainly would have been an interesting twist. Most vampire stories use the "men bites women" bit, with the men being powerful and the women being submissive victims. The Cast ladies set up for a gender flip which could have been good social commentary and ignored it. Lovely.
