Dude, all this preaching is really pissing me off. One minute, they preach liberal views and the next its conservative! I know people can have mixed views, but Zoey just comes across that absolutely no one can do right in her eyes. Her standards are unreasonably high; no human, or vampire could possibly live up to them. You can already see it with Erik, he is being judged on how good of a boyfriend he could be on his ex, not his personality or how he treats women. If this was reality, Erik would tell Zoey to go fuck herself and she would be utterly alone because no one could live up to her standards.
Oh, I was bored last night (okay, I woke up at 3am for some strange reason and couldn't get back to sleep) so I wandered over to Amazon.com and checked out the reviews for this book and you know how many 1-star reviews this got? 90. Cassandra Clare got half of that.
Side note: Clare does piss me off. She got famous and a book deal because of a crap fanfic? Wouldn't that be technically profiting off of the HP series, since publishers pay the authors money and they gave her a book deal because of of fanfic, so couldn't J.K Rowling sue her? ...who am I kidding? Rowling has made so much money that Clare hasn't even made a fraction of what she's made.
