Ms. and Ms. Cast? In your efforts to show how "accepting" and "non-discriminating" you are, you have pretty much offended huge chunks of people who pick up your novels. Deeply religious people/Christians in general? Check. Southerners or people who like country music and the style? Check. Homosexuals? Check. Teenagers in general? Check. Mythology lovers? Check. People with step-parents? Check. And even though it's not really bad yet--black people? Check.
I'm probably forgetting some, but anyway, as of right now, this is just terrible. I can't help but think they wanted a goofy satire on high school or something, but their less-than-subtle heavy-handed commentary on anyone who doesn't agree with them makes me think otherwise.
