I "LOLed" at your mention of the cave troll. Because it reminded me of that one scene in Fellowship of the Ring when Boromir, after getting the door shut, turns to the rest of the group with this "well, damn" look on his face and says "they brought a cave troll."
Also, little nit-pick here, it wasn't a cave troll that invaded Hogwarts. It was a mountain troll. That's all. Don't hurt me!
