It also has to do with the fact that youngest author, Kristin Cast, has made Zoey her self-insert. On PURPOSE. She has no idea tat's a bad thing. And neither dose her mom. She states in interviews that she made Zoey's character like hers when she was a teenager (3, 4 years ago) and now so she and her mom could write her more easily. Zoey looks almost exactly like the youngest author, the exception being her hair which has brown highlights. According to Kristin, Zoey becomes a character in her own... but for books one and two she does strictly what Kristen would have in her situation, likes and dislikes what Kristen does, ect ect...
If Zoey Redbird is an honest to God self-insert I fear I may have to take a little trip to America with my slapping hand ready.
