Those who stumble over their stories being sporked generally react as if they've been betrayed and backstabbed, which is weird, as a stranger isn't in a position to betray anyone. Not liking someone's story isn't a betrayal, after all; it's a matter of taste. I don't imagine that everyone has always liked all of my stories, come to that.
