"De nada" means "it's nothing" in Spanish, so I don't know where she's getting "you're welcome" from. If you wanted to say "You're welcome" and/or "don't mention it" in Italian, you'd say, "Non c'รจ di che."

True. Though he could have been found and unpetrified by Pomfrey or her equivalent and then mindwiped everyone of any knowledge of the Basilisk once he was all better.
Notice that Blaise and Draco are the ones asking questions and thinking about destroying the diary, while Holly's main foci are a) emotional anguish, b) wailing, and c) having a boyfriend around to make it all better?
Remind me--why is Holly supposed to be so much more interesting than the characters who are actually DOING something? (Even if the boys are being dumb, and they are, they are still moving what remains of the plot. Holly is just howling to get people to pay attention to her. Bor-RING.)
