I think it really says something when I divide the book in 10 parts and 9 out of them had at least 3 "this is so gay" moments minimum. Diego and Raoul fighting for Riley's love is the only thing that makes sense. Heck, look at Kristie vs Raoul. She behaves normal while Raoul is all jealous and would do anything for him.
But yeah, everyone is stupid aside from Fred. I'm surprised Fred is so smart and not in love with Bree. He was more than able to leave her ass behind when she went on to be stupid.
