You know what, that could be it. And I took a break from fanfic because people don't seem to know how canon Dumbledore works! It drives me up the wall, I get so happy when I find someone who loves Dumbledore, we're as rare as unicorns. I learned about an unspoken rule, an author has one Dumbledore bash fic, their other fics are just like it.
