The Griffin city thing, I suspect, comes from the game. She probably saw how the Zora and Gorons had human-like cities and thought that they could all be like that. The difference though, is that Zora's and Gorons are humanoid, with human hands and the like. Griffins aren't. It just...augh. But that's also why she probably had that they accepted rupees, despite the fact that they're not in Hyrule. The Suethor doesn't seem to get how culture from places not in Hyrule and the culture of Hyrule don't always mesh.

Silly you! Of course they're accepting of Jenna and Link! Otherwise, the Sue couldn't get lots of attention and cool stuff from them!
