I agree with the other land thing - some spite is in order due to her whiney little rant before.
Also your theory makes some sense.
Why all the Zelda's are named the same is explained in the second game. The later Impa may just be named after the original if all the Shekiah are really dead as a way of honoring her memories. Link on the other hand is able to have his name changed in most games well the name Link stands for him being our link to the game so yeah... Although it does seem like some great cosmic force is making sure these people exist... Hmmmmmm Oh my Goddessess I just can't imagine who that could be! Ha-ha~! Still you have to imagine they have Zeldas and Links who have never done anything important in life - no epic journey, no fighting... just a peaceful (well as peaceful as a Ganondorf-less Hyrule ever gets...) life. :) Still I see no sue in sight in those cases.
