Oy, I know what you mean. And parents...gah I can't believe some of the stuff they let slide! I see stuff kids on TV get away with even, and I think "if I acted like that, my parents would have put me in my place in a second".
Still, even that's kind of impressive. He wrote something to be light and entertaining, but still managed to make it work on lots of different levels. And word on the SNL analogy, that's perfect! XD
