Ah. It's sort of the opposite of my idea then. My heroes didn't have a lot of powers, but were heroes because they just really wanted to help people and would do so no matter what.
My newspaper actually ran an article on children who are dangerous/evil in movies, like the kid in the Omen or the little girl in "Bad Seed" (now THAT'S a psychotic girl!) Plus, there really are kids who do nasty stuff. I believe there was a fourteen-year-old boy who murdered his parents because he didn't want to take out the trash. And then there's Juliet and Pauline, two girls in New Zealand who famously murdered Pauline's mother because she tried to separate them (note that the girls weren't related in any way, but were very close friends. Their parents thought they were lesbians - which was illegal at the time - so they figured that putting Juliet in Africa would fix things).
