I actually tried to send a letter to Doug Walker concerning this...debacle. Basically, it was mostly trying to appeal to his better nature and encouraging him to reconcile with Lindsey and the others. I haven't seen a reply yet, I suspect because the site is nearly abandoned by its staff and Michaud is not allowing messages that aren't there to kiss his ass.
It's heartbreaking, like seeing a friend in an abusive relationship who doesn't think it's abusive. I've read from Tony Goldmark AKA Some Jerk With a Camera that he had communicated with Doug and he suspects that Doug is lawyering up, either to break away from Michaud or to sue the writers of the Google Doc. Like Tony, I desperately hope it's the former.
