Yeah, there's no reason for Vee to think he'd draw the line at drugging, just like there's no reason to think the Master wouldn't abuse his wife. In the former case, Vee lost her mind because the Suethor decreed it. In the latter case...well, if there's a good-looking villain, even if he's the biggest psycho ever, there's bound to be at least a few fans who insist he's really the sweetest guy ever and is totally misunderstood.
