In the city of Awesomeopolis, reviewers have gained superpowers and fight crime! Sadly, years on the job have worn them down, with most in retirement or out of contact.
All this changes when a strange substance begins to infect certain heroes. Those exposed to it begin to get taken over by evil alternate personalities. It's a race against the clock to contain the infected and find a means to cure them. All the while, there are questions. Where have reviewers like Amarzon disappeared to? Why has no one seen a certain Critic or Spoony One around? And how does this tie in with a rather sinister Guy and a giggling insane scientist?
