No, she doesn't quite grasp that he wants to kill her until a few chapters from now. Even then, it really doesn't fully sink in. She spends most of Crescendo whining about how Patch ought to have not passed up the chance he got to get a human body, even though HE HAD TO MURDER HER TO GET IT! >_<
