Yeah, I saw the graphic novel announcement. -_- I think it's viewed as another way to milk the cash cow, while the fangirls get all happy over being able to actually see the hawt psychopath. I intend to give it the same treatment I gave to Twilight's graphic novel. (Incidentally, City of Bones is getting one as well. The graphics look less creepy than Twilight's, but it's still on my list)
Dear lord, all that gun thing reminded me of was when I was in high school and we got our usual Informational Visit from the Local Police. One of the things we had hammered into our heads was how we were NEVER to do smarmy things like wave around guns like that, even if it was a fake. If a police officer saw that happening, they'd be perfectly justified in tazering your ass or arresting you. The example we got was an unnamed dude who was pulled over and found with an enormous stash of fake but realistic guns in the back of his car (he and his friends were shooting a movie). The entire time the police looked through, he made damn well sure to cooperate. Patch's actions, on the other hand, are just begging for someone to respond and restrain his ass. -_-
