On the one hand, they didn't make her turn out to be a vampire, but on the other hand, they've oversimplified the circumstances surrounding her capture, trial, and execution.
There was a lot more to her story than "The English burned her as a witch for heresy and wearing pants".
But then what teenage girl is interested in Medieval HUMAN history?
