I damn near had a fit right there in the library when I read about how Calypso was actually a respectable vampire priestess who was imprinted with Odyseus and those stupid, misogynistic, backwards humans just couldn't deal with that so they spread word that she was an evil witch. -_-
And your version of a vampire religion is a million times more interesting and scary than anything the Casts have put to paper. I would so read about vampires that follow that religion in a heartbeat.
Also: "Some fledglings believe that that if you offend the goddesses enough, they will punish the offender by stripping him or her of divine favor, i.e., turning him or her back into a human being"
You seem to have an uncanny ability to guess what's going to be happening in this series.
