Me neither. I looked on Wikipedia and Aldebaran was featured in Inuit, Dakota, and Mexican mythology, as well as Hindu myths. Aldebaran was also honored as one of the Four Royal Stars in ancient Persia and its name derives from the Arabic word for "The Follower." The only connection to Greek mythology that I can see is that Aldebaran is one of the stars in the constellation Taurus, which, as we all know, has the shape of a bull: the form that Zeus/Jupiter took when he ran off with Europa. Actually, considering that sleazy Loren Blake shows up in this chapter...maybe that's some twisted foreshadowing right there.
