I'm kind of torn. Hush, Hush has concentrated Do Not Want and is only two books thus far (soon to be three), but the House of Night series manages to stretch its banal idiocy over about ten or so books. >_<
Still, Hush, Hush, is certainly more frightening, I agree with you.
