Note: I actually am not in the Supernatural fandom, so I don't have any ships for that. Terribly sorry!

Erm, is it alright if I just did Simon/Kaylee, only because I don't ship Link/Midna. ^^; (I love Midna to death, but I like her and Link as close friends)

I. Fandom and meta:

1) I like the pairing a lot, but it was rather annoying how it was stretched out like it was. Still, it was very sweet and I loved seeing the two together
2) Generally it was the little moments they were together, like when they were cuddling on the sofa and laughing about a story Simon was telling
3) Ummm...I haven't really read much Firefly fanfiction, so I don't know any ^^;; Sorry!
4) Again, I don't know much about Firefly cliches. Anything involving character derailment, though. I don't know if that sort of thing happens to Simon in Kaylee/Jayne fics, but if it does, I hate it XD
5) Like I said above, I did start to find the whole "Simon and Kaylee have a moment, only for it to get interrupted/blown" thing to get kind of annoying. I was glad that, at least, it got resolved in the movie
6) Hm, hard to say. I'd think for Simon, it'd be the platonic/big brother pairing with River. Kaylee, I honestly don't know
7) They're crew members on a ship of outlaws, plus Simon's sister is wanted by the government. Objects in Space shows pretty well how bad that can turn out
8) No kids, or at least not for a long while. Simon might want them, but I don't see him wanting to settle down until he and River are safe. And Kaylee's too much of a free spirit XD
9) They do it in the engine room, because the machinery turns Kaylee on. Before or after, Kaylee gives Simon lessons on how the mechanics work

7) Neither. Kaylee *is* the one who keeps the heat going on the ship XD

9) Kaylee, though I'm sure Simon has his turn when it's been a busy day
