So the last part about the bloodlust between Elliot and Nef, you only drew two options out of that, which I suppose could be true, but what I got out of this was - Elliot is dead + bloodlust is a metaphor for sex = Nef just performed necrophilia right in front of Zoey. And necrophilia is generally looked down on as a exceptionally nasty, perverted, and disturbing pracitise. So I think it would be justified to be portrayed as revolting.
