In regards to Eros:

I think they would have done better for the other god you mentioned, Philotes, given that Eros wasn't the god of love in the sense that they're using it, he was the god of lust. Aphrodite was all about romantic love and the courtship; Eros was about the physical attraction, the human instinct, the actual act of sex.

Which I really don't think they intended to mean. Then again...
