This chapter makes no sense. Jack is worried about Kate, except he's not because 'she's a force to be reckoned with.' He wants to rescue her, but not if he can convince Jones to keep her. He tries to use Will and Elizabeth's love to convince Jones to keep Will, but we'll completely ignore that he and Kate are in the exact same situation. I almost expect Jack to start talking to himself like Gollum. "We loves Kate, we loves her! — No, we wants the squid man to take her! Then we have the nice Pearlies all to ourselves!"
