What the hell was that? It was pointless and stupid and... gah! I don't know why she bothered to save Cedric, just to kill him off anyway. I'd be tempted to say it would be to make sure she could continue raping canon, except she put in Tom Riddle, which should have had a much bigger impact than sparing Cedric. His death mostly affected Harry in psychological ways, and Holly's a sociopath, so why would she care?
More spells flew their way, and as best Holly could tell, there was only one source. She just couldn't pinpoint where they were. Somewhere towards the west Two things bother me in this. First is how can she tell that there's only one source if she doesn't know where that source is? Secondly, how the hell does she know which way is west?
Either way, she stepped it up when he did. Weaving around and shielding as needed. And Priori Incantatem hasn't kicked in... why? Expelliarmus isn't a requirement for this. Any combat spell Harry sent at Voldemort would have had the same effect. (Small note: Priori Incantatem does regurgitate all spells. "Echoing screams of pain" came out of Voldemort's wand.)
I don't know why I'm shocked. The whole duel is stupid. The only reason Voldemort toyed around with Harry before the duel was to make Harry look weak. He needed to make it clear to his followers that Harry was not a threat to him. Toying with Holly in the duel only lends credence to the idea that she can compete with him.
Then we have Lucius, because I was just thinking that the fic couldn't get any dumber, and Azar loves to prove me wrong. Why is here? If he only served Voldemort because of the Imperius Curse, why would he return? It only gives Voldemort the chance to put the curse on him again. If he's such a good man, why not go to Dumbledore and say "Hey, Voldemort's back, so Holly's probably in danger. I'll tell you everything I know, but I'll need you to help protect me when Voldemort comes after me." Oh, right, he's not a good man. He, like all Slytherins here, like to loudly cry out about how everybody thinks they're mean blood-supremacists, just because they look down on everybody. He probably only saved Holly because he knows Draco wants to bang her (or he wants to bang her himself... you never can tell with a Mary Sue).
