I remember that! There was a really funny guy on ff.net who did some Chrono Trigger MSTs, and the writer he used not only gave him permission but also sent him her other fic and went 'Hey, have a look, mock it to your hearts content!'

It was one of the funniest things I had ever read. And now I can't find it. Bugger.
