*chips in two cents*

If my family's history is anything to go by, it is possible to walk on a floor so much that a groove is left. (Not a hole, mind you.) The story goes that one of my great grandmas spent an entire night and was still up at dawn muttering a prayer for many many many generations of the family to protect them. The hardwood floor was slightly worn out from where she had walked around the whole time.

I believe that the only possible way for an OC to obtain the Ocarina of Time (by a canyon-sized long shot) would be to steal the darned thing somehow. Meaning that, keeping with canonical tradition, it would most likely be a Gerudo/Pirate who did it at some point. Somebody like Sakon may not get away with in. Neither would a Gerudo, I guess, but they're like ninjas in the desert when Link meets them in OoT. Perhaps given enough motive and time, it might be possible. It would take a whole lot of talent from the OC and writer to pull that off though. Make the thief have second thoughts, not be strong, be a pacifist, or something debilitating to make the OC deviate from Jenna frickin' McSue as much as possible. I swear this 'fic gives me a migraine.

Kudos to you, ZQ, for surviving this.

Still not reading the chapters where it gets incredibly squicky. >_<; /ramblings at 1AM
