This chapter was very oddly spaced. I mean, there's several points that would have made for very nice chapter breaks, but instead we've done almost the entire thing in one chapter, yet suddenly stop short.

But things started to change for the better as some of the Griffins started to notice my expensive clothes and the emblem I wore on the front of my dress. I'll concede that the griffins might be able to tell she had expensive clothes. While they wouldn't really know what cut made a dress fancy, well-crafted is well-crafted. But how would they know what the emblem on her dress meant? And why would they care? A human from Hylia should be no better or worse than one from anywhere else, and given the slavery in their background, a well-dressed human would probably be less welcome than one dressed in simple clothes.
I spotted a few good silk shops and decided to have a look. You're here on a vaguely defined diplomatic mission to stop an evil dragon-king. Said evil dragon-king is directly between you and your homeland. Not the best time to be picking up dress materials.
Stories for told of a monstrous sea beast that would attack seafaring ships and sink them, First of all, that should be "foretold," one word. Except it should really just be "told" since there's no prediction involved

"Now why haven't you allowed my guests in?" Because you obviously didn't tell them? I don't care how lazy these guards are, if you told them the only humans in the entire city were coming and to let them through, they'd notice it when the only humans in the entire city showed up!
Then my eyes traced forward to the five pedestals where five heavily, carved, oaken chairs sat with five cloaked figures among them. Because griffins would totally sit in chairs.
I remembered that it was always customary when in the presence of high authority to place your hand on the hilt of your weapon. The point in bowing is that you are extending trust to the authority by presenting the back of your neck. Putting your hand on your weapon... that's the exact opposite of that! Instead of making yourself easier to kill, you're making it easier for you to kill them!
