Either way, she could actually be quite useful during a delivery. It would certainly be more interesting than this one.
Navi, you and Lilly must fly to the castle quickly, fetch Princess Zelda and the healer! Why isn't the midwife there? If she's been having false labor for days, then there's certainly been time to get someone there. Zelda, too, for that matter. It would make a lot more sense* if she had already been there, helping out while Jenna was too pregnant to do much, rather than her coming all this way just so she can help with the delivery.
* Still falls under the general "the princess is my bestie" stupidity, mind you.

I dislike the whole "I'm gonna blame my husband!" cliché to begin with, but if you're going to do it, commit. Having her spout out two angry lines just makes it sound like she's going through a checklist.
Really, the entire scene fails for that reason. It's too focused on what's physically happening, when this scene needs to be centered on the emotions.
