I really think that Meyer turned into a Renfield for her own stupid vampire creations when she wrote this thing. I mean honestly, would it have killed her to have had even one character seriously stand up for humanity and called out the vampires? Of course not. Bella jumps ship from the start and the wolves bail as soon as that GD imprinting on Renesmee happens.

Rage away. I kind of just went numb after the chapter where we were oh-so-casually told that a large number of vampires would be running around and eating people, but Bella ignores it because they'd be eating people anyway and hey, it's not like it's anyone SHE knows.
