Right. Hans would pretend to be sweet and kind as long as it would benefit him, and it would ALWAYS benefit him to keep Anna and the people of Arendelle loving him.

Er, Patch's wangsty past is that he ditched his job as archangel to go to Earth and hook up with some human peasant girl. Because he was a dumbass, he ended up becoming a fallen angel and couldn't feel things. I don't mean emotionally, I mean he physically couldn't feel things. So he spent several centuries coping with this by enslaving a Nephil named Chauncey and stealing his body for two weeks out of every year. He then tried to fix the issue by trying to track down one of Chauncey's female descendants, because murdering her would kill Chauncey and give Patch a human body.

This is treated as incredibly sympathetic. We're supposed to really feel bad that he didn't succeed in killing an unsuspecting girl and his long-term victim to make sure his punishment for being a responsibility-dodging asshat wasn't totally uncomfortable.

(Fitzpatrick would later retcon the reason he ditched Heaven as being because he disagreed with some of the vague policies of vagueness that the other archangels supported. Since he did jack-shit about said policies and we never see what they even are, it's really no better of an excuse.)

Nice! :D Woot for good dub changes!
