Really? I know they were ratcheting up the idea that Asami was getting insecure, but I still think that it could go either way. Maybe I'm willfully ignoring it. Ah well, if it's at all like the way it was in the first series, the pairings will be made pretty clear.

(And like I said, I'm just glad that the triangle is downplayed in favor of the actual important stuff that's happening. That's one thing that seriously puts me off of romance in a story, when wangst over it is given more attention than the flipping plot)

I never read any of her other works. I only know about that one because Shaolina sporked some of it. I continued on out of morbid curiosity and saw that not only did Hakuron kidnap an unsuspecting girl and refuse to take her home, but when she leaves to go earn money to fly back to Japan and nearly gets raped in the process, he calls her an idiot and blames her for it. He says something like "I would have given you the money if you would have asked!" and I wanted to strangle him through the pages, while screaming "SHE ALREADY DID ASK YOU!!!"

Then, I went onto Wikipedia and read what he does to her, and how the manga-ka patched it all over to get to the "happy ending" she was angling for. Yeah. :/
