They used this law to literally steel land

And people wonder why I don't want to self-publish.

Never, until the day I die (and past that) will I understand the difficulty of understanding the difference between Plural and Possession. Never.

You know, I can't shake this feeling that I am being talked too like I'm nine years old, yet, my brain keeps screaming 'there is no way my nephew (who is ten) would ever understand this in a million years.' This doesn't even read like a prologue! This seems more like Wise Old Man Type 256(TM) telling the back story of the mysterious creatures to Protagonist Type 3,561(TM) in the style of how Meyer pukes out back story. Fail.

My theory is that these 'Muggles' are actually mutants. That is the only explanation for the hyper-evolution. If something as big a humans evolved that drastically over that short period of time, we would just destroy ourselves because we wouldn't breed out bad adaptations. If you cannot grasp the simple fact that drastic evolution cannot, in any sense of reality, happen for large creatures in a span of centuries, then don't use evolution for anything. If you cannot understand that humans count as 'large creatures', you are an idiot.

I couldn't even keep this straight if I tried.
