That's true. The thing is, the handbook says that Lilith was a vampire from Mesopotamia, and the Lilith of Mesopotamian mythology was different than how she was derived in Jewish texts. Specifically, the early version of Lilith had her as a monstrous bird-woman (or at least, that's how I recall). Granted, there's some debate as to whether or not Lilith truly did originate in Mesopotamian mythology, but I'm pretty sure the Cast ladies meant to invoke that.
