What a fantastic and interesting heroine. It's like she's doing all within her power to resist moving the plot along.

Best description of this series so far, if I do say so myself :P

You know, that hallucination or dream Zoey had could have had some potential, either as some sort of nightmare hallucination because of some other power, or because of some curse she has placed on her. I don’t know, but still, it could have been way more frightening in a better story.

Even though it's sad to believe, it's awful how Zoey views Elliot still. What did he actually do to her, because I can't think of anything! And show me a teenage boy who isn't cocky and sarcastic! :P So he may have been a been irritating, but her treatment of him is so OTT and undeserved!

I love how Zoey's all worried about the red-eyed ghosts and Stevie for, like, a millisecond before we're back to the hard-hitting stuff: sitting on the couch getting all loved-up with the token love interests since everyone has to be coupled-up somehow, along with some 'geek-bashing' and a nice dollop of racism for good measure! (Seriously, which of the Casts thought of that line about Shaunee being black? Why do we have to be reminded of it every chapter, why is it her whole identity?! Maybe we get reminded of it all the time just in case Shaunee suddenly turns Asian or Anglo between scenes, who knows :D It's not like the Casts can decide on any decent characterisation…)

And that shit about Star Wars? Hey, my six year old cousin is the biggest Star Wars fan I know! It all started when he got the Lego Star Wars game for DS and soon enough he started watching Clone Wars and got the Lego sets. For his birthday last week, he got the box set of all the movies and even more Lego, and at his party with all his friends and had Darth Vader on his birthday cake :P

When I was talking to his mum (my aunt) and my dad, I said that Star Wars isn't really seen as a 'geek' thing anymore. Even though I'm not a fan of the franchise, I can realise, too, that it's so accessible that it has all kinds of fans and lots of different people love it. I wish the Casts would actually be bothered to be a little more observant of how society really behaves instead of getting their inspirations from dumb shit teen movies >.<

Wait, why are vampires going after football players, it seems so random?
