You let go of your best friend and wipe some of her tears off her face. "Look, this is what we'll do. This guy is stalking you right? Well, let's just switch jackets and run out the employee's exit. He'll come after me, and you'll be home free."
Nora looked horrified. "Vee--"
You cut her off. "Look, I'll be fine. You know me; would I be dumb enough to lead off a stalker if I wasn't packing heat?"
Nora opens her mouth.
"Don't answer that. Look, just give me your jacket. I'll be fine."
It took another few minutes before Nora willingly gave up her jacket. You make sure she leaves first, before you follow. You make sure to keep her within sight, letting yourself fall back more and more. You hear footsteps behind you, you're only warning before someone slams into you, pushing you into a nearby alley.
You manage to get a good grip on your purse, clutching the thing you need and yanking it out while on the ground. Someone picks you up and slams you to the brick wall. A hand grabs your chin and yanks your head up, making you face to face with Patch.
His smug look turns to one of surprise and you grin at him. You pull what you need out of your purse and into plain sight. His shocked look turns slightly fearful.
You raise the squirt gun to his face. "Surprise, motherfucker!" And you squeeze the trigger.
His screams echo in the alley way and he throws you to the side. You land on a trash can and grunt. You scramble to your feet and turn towards him. The left side of his face was melting, showing bone. He turned his ruined face towards you, his eyes full of sheer raw hatred.
You roll your eyes and raise the squirt gun again. "Bitch please." You squirt the holy water directly into his eye ball and he screams again, falling to his knees.
You proceed to keep squirting as he rolls around in agony, making sure to aim towards his groin more than once. Your squirt gun begins to run out of water, so you reach into your purse again and take out two water bottles. You pour both of the contents on him and watch in satisfaction as his screams turned to choked gurgles. You know you shouldn't be taking this much satisfaction from this, but you can't help it. The fucker had mind raped and stalked your best friend, as well as a whole bunch of other innocent people. After living in fear of this asshole for the past two years ever since you found out what he was, it felt cathartic to be able to watch him slowly melt.
After a few minutes, all that was left of Patch was a puddle of slowly bubbling goo.
"Vee!"
You turn and find Nora running towards you. "I heard screaming what-" You slowly comes to a stop and stares with disgust at the puddle of goo. "What is that?"
You give her an innocent look. "Oh, nothing. So, what's the problem?"
She shoots you a suspicious look. "I heard someone screaming. I called the cops, but I ran back to see if you were okay."
You give her a hug. "I'm fine, don't worry. You said the cops are gonna be here?"
"Yeah, someone sounded like they were in trouble."
You give her a pat on the back as you lead her out of the alley way. You feel as though a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. "Something tells me that we won't have to worry about it. Not anymore."
