Yeah, but if that's the case, shouldn't she at least have a name that ISN'T a real-life goddess? I mean, I know the whole "mother goddess" aspect reoccurs in many religions, but Nyx is hardly one of them and... gah! *grips head* This makes no sense at all.
Good point. The same is true with Aphrodite. I understand that's not an uncommon name for Greek even today, but Zoey goes on about how it's so pretentious for someone to give themselves that name.
